About Metal Crafts

Why does the final product look different from the artwork?

Common reasons include lines that are too thin, fonts that are too small for metal engraving, or artwork that has not been converted into a metal-production drawing (no clear raised, recessed, or color-filled areas).

Typical mistakes include reversed text, missing letters, incorrect raised or recessed areas, distorted proportions, and uneven engraving depth, all of which affect the final product.

Thick products are usually made by zinc alloy die-casting. Burrs naturally occur after casting and must be removed through polishing and edge trimming.

This is usually caused by improper hanging angles, complex structures with dead corners, insufficient plating time, or poor surface preparation.

Antique plating is a manual aging process. Variations in oxidation time and polishing intensity make it impossible to achieve 100% consistency.

Incorrect curing temperature, moisture or oil on the base metal, or unstable enamel quality can cause bubbling.

Color differences usually result from not using Pantone colors, different enamel batches, or inconsistent manual color mixing.

Insufficient grinding and polishing or improper metal height design can result in an uneven surface.

Holes that are too thin, insufficient reinforcement, or poor structural design can cause breakage.

Incorrect adhesive, unpolished surfaces, or packaging before full curing can cause accessories to detach.

Rust occurs when regular iron parts are used, anti-rust treatment is missing, or products are exposed to humid shipping conditions.

MaterialCommon Issues
Zinc AlloyBurrs, air holes (porosity), requires polishing
CopperHigh cost, heavy weight
IronProne to rusting
Stainless IronLimited options for electroplating
AluminumCannot be electroplated; can only be oxidized (anodized) or spray-coated

Large polished surfaces have a higher risk of bubbling during plating. To reduce scrap rates and material loss, recessed sandblasting is the industry-preferred solution.

Fridge magnets can use either soft or strong magnets. Soft magnets are ideal for lightweight designs, while embedded strong magnets are recommended for heavier metal products, depending on the application.

Antique silver is a vintage finish, and slight batch variations are normal. For repeat orders, we can achieve about 90%–95% color similarity, but not 100% identical.

Imitation enamel is color-filled before plating, so blackening is not possible. For a black finish, only black nickel plating can be used.

Fabric

About Fabric Crafts

Why does the embroidery look different from the artwork?

Embroidery is created with threads, so fine lines, gradients, and very small text in flat artwork cannot be fully replicated. Designs must be adapted for embroidery.

Embroidery threads have physical thickness, and overlapping stitches make lines appear thicker, especially in small designs.

Text that is too small or details that are too fine fall below the minimum stitch size, causing merging or loss of clarity.

Uneven stitch density, unstable fabric tension, or soft materials can cause an uneven embroidery surface.

Improper thread tension, worn needles, or overly complex stitch paths can cause thread breaks or skipped stitches.

Different thread batches, lighting conditions, and screen color variations can cause color differences.

Insufficient foam thickness, small design areas, or low stitch density can reduce the 3D effect.

Overly complex edges or imprecise foam trimming can result in rough edges.

Soft buckram materials or lack of reinforcement, especially in washed caps, can cause poor structure.

High stitch density or embroidery on overly soft fabrics can cause deformation.

Poor fit, small head circumference, or stiff sweatband materials can cause discomfort.

Different fabric batches and dyeing processes can cause slight color variation.

Low color contrast or lack of underlay stitches reduces visibility on dark fabrics.

Lower-quality thread or improper washing methods (machine wash, hot water) can cause fuzzing.

High cotton content or non-wash-resistant buckram materials can cause shrinkage or deformation.

Manual positioning may cause slight deviations, which are within industry tolerance.

Multiple machines and operators can result in minor variations within a batch.

About Shipping Crafts

What shipping methods do you offer?

We offer express courier (DHL / FedEx / UPS), air freight, and sea freight, depending on delivery time, order volume, and budget.

Shipping costs depend on transit time, chargeable weight, routes, fuel surcharges, and peak season factors. Faster delivery generally costs more.

International shipping charges are based on the higher of actual weight or volumetric weight, especially for bulky but lightweight packages.

Samples are shipped in small quantities, usually by express courier, making the per-unit shipping cost relatively high.

Transit times are estimates and may be affected by flights, weather, customs clearance, or peak seasons, and are not 100% guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to flight changes, port congestion, customs inspections, holidays, or force majeure events.

Products are usually packed individually in OPP bags or inner packaging, then placed into cartons with cushioning when necessary.

Yes. If you have a nominated forwarder, we can deliver the goods to your designated warehouse or address. Domestic handling costs are charged based on actual expenses, while international shipping is handled by your forwarder.

DHL has fixed daily pickup and departure schedules based on flight arrangements. Shipments are not dispatched at any time, but we will arrange the earliest suitable departure for you.

“Urgent” only refers to delivery time. As long as the product is not classified as sensitive cargo, it will still be shipped as general cargo.

Transit times are estimates. While most shipments arrive as scheduled, factors such as flights, customs clearance, or local delivery may affect timing. We recommend allowing buffer time.

Incomplete or mismatched address details may cause delivery delays or customs issues. Please ensure the address is accurate before shipment.

DDP availability depends on the destination country, product type, and quantity. We will advise the most suitable option based on your order.

We use standard, generic product descriptions on invoices to minimize customs clearance risks.

Some countries may require a Certificate of Origin for customs clearance. Please inform us in advance if needed.

For products involving religious, law enforcement, or special symbols, we recommend confirming regulations in advance to ensure smooth shipping and clearance.
